Government of Pakistan has started different Youth Programs in 2013 under the establishment of PMLN Government. then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has started PM National Laptop Scheme for five years in order to give 1 Lac Laptops to eligible students. Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme Phase 3 Online Details and Eligibility criteria can also viewed by www.pmnls.hec.gov.pk. This PM National Laptop Scheme is HEC approved merit based Scheme to Distribute Laptops in HEC Recognized Universities.Students (Male & Female) from Punjab, KPK, SIndh, Balochistan, AJK , Gilgat Baltistan & Islamabad are eligible for this Scheme if they have not got Laptop previously.
Students those have got laptops are From Matric,Intermediate (F.A, F.Sc) Bachelors (B.A, B.Sc, BCS, B.Com,BS (Hon)), Maters (M.A, M.Sc) ,M.Phil & PhD Students, While a specific Quota is fixed for Virtual University , Allama Iqbal Open University, FATA Graduates, Islamabad Graduates, Dars e Nizami Madrassa certificates & polytechnic Diploma Holders.
Qualification/Eligibility Criteria:-
Individuals who have enrolled in following programs may apply.
- PhD, MPhil or equivalent courses.
- One year or two years Master's degree courses (MA, MSC, MBA, MCS, MS or Equivalent).
- Four or Five year programs.
- FATA or Islamabad students, who are enrolled at Degree and Post Graduates colleges of Government of Pakistan.
- Three or Two years DAE (Diploma) courses in Polytechnic and Vocational Institutes.
